I am a skilled mining engineer with a PhD in Mining Exploitation and the first woman in Iran to achieve this distinction. With years of experience in teaching and consulting, I have developed expertise in open pit mine planning and design, reserve estimation, and feasibility studies. Since relocating to Chile in 2014, I have continued my career as an academic and researcher focused on mine planning, mining economy, environmental impact of mining, mine closure, and equipment simulation.

As a Research Assistant, I managed the 'Gravity Flow Technology' project, funded by the Chilean Government (CORFO) and the Chilean National Commission of Scientific Research and Technology (CONICYT), which involved researching and developing new technology in the field of cave mining technique. My responsibilities included:
Project management: I led and managed research projects, ensuring that they remained on track and within budget.
Mentorship: I mentored postgraduate students in their thesis projects, providing guidance on research methodologies, data analysis, and writing.
Research and analysis: I conducted research and analysis related to the project, including literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and experimental design and testing.
Paper writing: I wrote papers based on the results of the team's research, which were published in ISI journals. This involved summarizing research findings, drawing conclusions, and providing recommendations for further research.
Collaboration: I collaborated with other members of the research team, as well as with industry partners and other stakeholders. This involved sharing research findings, coordinating project activities, and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.

As a Postdoc Research Fellow, I worked on the 'Mud Rush Flow Modeling in Block Caving Operation' research project, under the supervision of Dr. Raul Castro. My responsibilities included:
Research and modeling: This involved analyzing data and designing experiments to help understand the behavior of mud rush flows.
Paper writing: I wrote several ISI papers based on the findings of research projects.
Conference participation: I presented our research findings at several national and international conferences.
Mentoring: I worked with PhD students to help them in their investigations.
Language learning: I dedicated a significant amount of time to learning Spanish, which was so important for my work in Chile. This involved taking courses, practicing conversation, and immersing myself in the language as much as possible.

As a mining consultant, I was responsible for the short-term mine design and planning of various iron ore mines located in Yazd and Kerman. I made monthly visits to the mines and mostly worked with Datamine and AutoCAD software to create mine designs. Additionally, I wrote several feasibility study reports for new deposits, primarily focused on iron ore. My expertise includes using borehole data as input information to model the deposit, estimate reserves, define the mining method, conduct long-term production planning, and conduct an economic evaluation of mining projects.
