With a robust background as a mechanical engineer and researcher, I excel in numerical simulation and fluid dynamics, leveraging skills in data analysis and computational mathematics to drive environmental and engineering innovations. My ability to develop advanced computational models significantly enhances project outcomes, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Specialized expertise in particular fields: numerical simulation, fluid dynamics, engineering, environmental pollution
Courses taught: Project Workshop, Strength of Materials, Mechanics and Strength of Materials, Engineering Drawing. Development project of the Mechanical Civil Engineering program at the Osorno campus.
Development of computational models of the CFD type (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to study the effect of wind on dust dispersion. Meteorological data analysis, development and installation of meteorological and air quality measurement equipment, study of dust dispersion conditions in mining operations. Fieldwork that includes regular visits to different mining sites, to study the small-scale meteorological conditions affecting the operations.
