

Sebastian has 28 years of experience in the equipment distribution business and in several specialties, including operations, commercial, marketing, legal, tax, insurance, human resources, supply chain, health and safety and corporate strategy. He was graduated as Lawyer at Diego Portales University, has a Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Chile, and most recently concluded an Executive Leadership Program from Duke Coporate Education. During his career Sebastian has actively led key processes and projects in different roles in the organization. Highlights: 1) Strategy. Reporting to the President of Finning Southamerica he prepared, documented, deployed and monitored the execution of the Strategy of the Buiness. He also was member if the Council that defined and deployed Finning's digital strategy. 2) Commercials. Sebastian led the strategy, deployment and negotiation of the two most important deals that Finning has been awarded in its recent history (Syncrude and Escondida BHP). He also achieved important improvements in market share for retail segments, demonstrating versatility in his commercial accumen. 3) Operations. In several roles, territories and industry markets he has led important operations for the Corporation. He currently leads the Mining Operation for Finning Southamerica. In previous roles he led the operations of Finning in Argentina and Uruguay, led the Construction and Energy industries in South America (Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay) and most recently led the Mining Operation for Finning in Canada. 4) Safety. In the exercise of several roles, Sebastian has been able to improve in a consistent and sustainable manner the safety performance of the areas under his responsibility, reflected in a positive and consistent improvement of leading and lagging KPIs. 5) People. As HR VP he successfully led several Union negotiations in Chile. During his role as SVP Mining in Finning Canada he was Chair of the Inclusion & Diversity Council. 6) Customer and key stakeholder relationships. During his career, Sebastian had the opportunity to lead and manage relationships at different levels. First, with customers (mining companies, construction and energy companies), with several Governments, Unions, Caterpillar and Communities. His style lands nicely from the shop floor to the Board room. 7) M&A. Led several projects to acquire and dispose businesses and territories (Diperk acquisition, Uruguay dealership disposition). 8) Supply Chain. During his career, Sebastian led the Supply Chain area for Canada and Southamerica, with solid improvements on customer satisfaction, Inventory quality and turns, and implementation of improvement and efficiency projects.
